M65 Road Expansion De-vegetation

Our team carried out de-vegetation works along the M65 ahead of a road expansion project, clearing the verge and embankment vegetation required before civil works could begin. With the motorway live throughout, all works were carried out overnight under full traffic management to keep our team and road users safe.

Excavators fitted with mulching heads cleared vegetation along the carriageway, with a second excavator and chipper processing material on site as work progressed. The team worked through the night shifts required to complete the clearance, including through winter conditions, to keep the project on schedule.
