Fast, compliant, built around you

Clearing the way for your next phase

A site that's overgrown, wooded or covered in scrub can hold up an entire project. NorthernArb clears it fast — using a fleet of modern, specialist machinery to strip back vegetation, fell and process trees, and grind out stumps, whether that's a quarter-acre plot or a multi-hectare development site.

We know commercial and industrial clients work to a programme, not a wish list. Every clearance is planned around your deadline, coordinated with your other contractors, and carried out with full method statements, risk assessments and insurance documentation ready before we set foot on site.

FAQs

Site clearance questions

How quickly can you start a site clearance?
We can usually get a quote out within 24-48 hours of a site visit, and start dates depend on scale — but we prioritise commercial and time-sensitive projects and will always tell you upfront if a deadline is realistic.
Do you handle permits and Tree Preservation Orders?
Yes. Before any clearance begins, our team checks for Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Area status and protected species, and we can help with the paperwork if permissions are needed.
What happens to the waste and timber?
Wherever possible we process timber and green waste on site — chipping brash, logging usable timber and removing the rest through our registered waste carrier documentation, with full duty-of-care paperwork provided.
Can you work to a construction programme?
Yes — we regularly work alongside groundworkers, utility contractors and site managers, and can coordinate access, timing and traffic management around the wider project.
Are you insured for commercial and infrastructure work?
We hold £10 million public liability insurance and are Constructionline Gold and CHAS accredited, so we can meet most principal contractor and local authority pre-qualification requirements.
