Preston Church Hazardous Trees

Our team was called to a church site in Preston to remove a number of hazardous trees. With trees close to a public footpath running through the grounds, a temporary footpath closure was arranged for the duration of the works to keep the public safely away from the operation while felling and dismantling took place.

Our climbers ascended and dismantled each tree using rope access, working sectionally to bring material down in a controlled manner. A mini excavator fitted with a grapple attachment was used to stack and move the felled timber, keeping the site organised as work progressed, while a tracked chipper and chipper truck processed brash on site throughout the job.
